COLOR: Red + White Plaid PRODUCT: Accent Pack LENGTH: Short STYLE: Square FINISH: Shin Why Supersonic Sad? On November 26, 2003 the Concorde, a commercial supersonic jet model that traveled at twice the speed of sound, made its last flight. Developed by British and French governments, the Concorde was a huge achievement in aviation, able to make a trip from New York to London in around three and half hours. Rising operation costs and reduced ticket sales led to the grounding of all Concordes, but supersonic commercial air travel has experienced renewed development in recent years by Virgin Galactic and United Airways. Perhaps we'll see a resurgence of the supersonic fad?
