Why Soft Launch?
In 1975, Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen to create software for the Altair 8800. The name combined “microcomputer” and “software,” terms that meant little to most people then. The Altair itself had no keyboard, no monitor, and barely any software—but hobbyists bought it anyway, helping launch the personal computer age. Trillions of dollars later… I think we can say it was a pretty successful Soft Launch.
