Why Better Bulleave It?
In December 1989, artist Arturo Di Modica pulled off a guerrilla-art stunt by secretly installing his 7,000-pound, 11-foot Charging Bull outside the New York Stock Exchange as a “gift” to the city. Though police quickly removed it, New Yorkers loved the bull so much that the New York City Parks Department caved to public pressure and reinstalled Charging Bull near its original location just a few days later… where it still stands today.
