Why Goldie Lucks Out?
Henry Heimlich invented the Heimlich maneuver in 1974, and it was quickly endorsed by the American Medical Association in 1975—good thing for Goldie Hawn! Years later, Hawn nearly choked to death on food at a restaurant before someone used the Heimlich maneuver to save her life.
