Why All Tied Up? 
Jeopardy! champ Scott Weiss decided that winning wasn’t exciting enough and aimed to make history instead. During Final Jeopardy, he had $13,400 and could have played it safe to secure the win. Instead, he wagered $2,600, setting up the show’s first ever three-way tie. Both challengers went all in, everyone answered correctly, and the game ended with all three contestants at $16,000. Scott admitted he could have taken the easy win, but thought it would be more fun to force a tie. The result was pure game-show chaos and one of Jeopardy!’s most legendary moments.
