Why Duck Duck Fabio?
On March 31, 1999, famed romance novel cover star Fabio found himself in a wild situation at Busch Gardens in Virginia. While riding a rollercoaster during a promotional event, he was struck in the chest by a goose. The bird hit Fabio so hard it knocked the wind out of him, and chaos ensued—feathers flying, bird honking, and Fabio struggling to catch his breath as the coaster zoomed on. The goose didn’t make it, but Fabio lived to laugh about it. He later told People magazine, “Because of that day, I began living life to its fullest.”
