Written by bassist, Adam Schlesinger and vocalist, Chris Collingwood, “Stacy’s Mom” was inspired by Schlesinger’s friend, who was attracted to Schlesinger’s grandma. The song went on to reach #21 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and gained regular rotation on radio stations and in music video countdown shows on MTV and VH1.
