Why Little Miss Daisy?
In August of 1971, British author Roger Hargreaves introduced his Mr. Men children’s book series, each of which introduced a different title character and their single dominant personality trait to convey a simple moral lesson. In 1981, the Little Miss accompanying series made its way to bookshelves. There are currently 137 Mr. Men and Little Miss titles available from Random House publishers, none of which is titled “Little Miss Daisy.”
