Why Lose the Land?
There was a time in the ancient past when a specific part of California was called Tinseltown. All that started to change in 1923, though, when an enterprising real estate developer threw up a massive sign for his newest project: Hollywoodland. The sign became so popular that its temporary materials of cheap wood and breathtaking scaffolding were replaced with permanent metal letters. And without the "-land" bit.
We highly recommend sealing the design on this nail with a coat of clear nail polish, especially along the top edge of the nail. We do not recommend trimming this nail.
