In 1987, Nanny appeared on Alex Trebec's Classic Concentration and won a 30-day trip around the world, a car and a total of $33K in prizes ($91K in today's dollars). Her appearance on the show aligned with Rating Sweeps week, and to garner viewership, the network was giving away a trip around the world. In order to win, she needed to beat the time it took the previous contestant, Betsy, to win a car. When Nanny beat Betsy, the first words out of her mouth were, "Oh, Betsy, I'm sorry!" However, she felt no remorse while on the beach in Sydney or shopping in Hong Kong, later that year!
