Why Shut Up, Richard?
On March 31, 1995, Tommy Boy, starring popular SNL duo David Spade and Chris Farley, opened at number one at the box office, going on to become an iconic 90s comedy. The film was originally set to be centered on the relationship between Tommy (Farley) and his step-brother Paul (played by Rob Lowe). When the storyline shifted, Rob Lowe asked to be uncredited so that he could be a "happy surprise" when his character appeared on screen.
