Why XOXO?
Gossip Girl was a powerhouse of a TV drama, following the lives of super-privileged NYC teens in a relatively small social circle. Throughout the six seasons of the show, it’s narrated by an unknown blogger calling themselves “gossip girl,” who reveals many secrets and drives a lot of the angsty drama of the show. In the series finale (remember those?!) the identity of Gossip Girl was finally revealed and, in a fun twist, about half the viewing audience rejected the reveal as completely absurd. (Spoiler: it was Dan. He wasn’t even a girl!)
